It’s a Spring Eggstravaganza! 6 South Seattle Egg Hunts

Are you hoping to attend an egg hunt without leaving the neighborhood? No problem! We hunted far and wide and found four eggs-tra special events right here in our own South Seattle community. Pro-tip: Arrive early, as hunts are often over within just a few minutes. Enjoy!

Friday, April 14

1. Flashlight Egg Hunt
Bring a flashlight and a bag to hunt for eggs in the dark. Ages 12 to 18. 8 p.m. at Jefferson Community Center Gym (3801 Beacon Ave. S.). Beacon Hill

Bring a bag or basket to hunt for goodies. Ages 11 and under. Rainier Community Center (4600 38th Ave. S.) at 10 a.m. sharp, arrive by 9:45 a.m. Columbia City

Sunday, April 16

6. Doggy Easter Egg Hunt
This event is a dual BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket) and BYOD (Bring Your Own Dog). In addition to gobs of eggs filled with treats or coupons, there will be two Grand Prize eggs with gift cards. For everyone’s safety and to maximize fun, all dogs are asked to remain on leash (and retractable leashes remain on the shortest setting) for the duration of the event. Starts at noon. Hosted by Urban Feed & Garden (4878 Beacon Ave S). Beacon Hill
